Erasmus+ is a European Union program supporting education, professional training and international cooperation. It enables students and staff to study, teach or gain experience abroad. The goal of the program is to improve the quality of education, promote cultural exchange and develop international contacts.
The Faculty participates in the Erasmus+ program primarily through the calls and agreements of the University of Sarajevo (UNSA), but it also has the possibility to independently sign inter-institutional Erasmus+ KA171 agreements. Independent agreements can be concluded exclusively for activities within the Faculty, such as mobility of students and teaching and non-teaching staff. Regarding KA171 projects with EU partner institutions, the initiative must come from the partner institution that includes our Faculty as a partner in its Erasmus+ application.
Erasmus+ mobility for students
Erasmus+ enables students to study and undertake internships at universities across Europe, providing an experience of international academic exchange and professional development.
Financial support
Students participating in Erasmus+ mobility are entitled to a grant covering part of the accommodation and travel costs abroad. The amount depends on the host country and the distance from Sarajevo, in line with Erasmus+ rules.

- Erasmus Distance Calculator: Distance Calculator
The grant is paid by the host institution, so students may in some cases need to cover part of the costs in advance, with reimbursement upon arrival. Students from groups with fewer opportunities may qualify for additional support (top-up grant). More: international.unsa.ba/top-up
